Fortant Merlot

In 1987, FORTANT DE FRANCE succeeded in the ambitious challenge of making varietal wines. Excellent Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc wines bearing the Fortant de France name (suggestive of the French word “fort” or “strong”), expressed all of the passion and perseverance of their creators.The great red varietals – Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah – soon followed. Fortant de France offers wines that reflect the diversity and wealth of southern France’s Languedoc region with a unique approach based on quality at all the key phases of the winemaking process, from the vineyard to the finished product.
